2 Apr 2008 - New-look classrooms unveiled!

The children of Year 6 were well and truly chuffed as their new classroom environment was unveiled this week!

The entire classroom furniture was replaced with brand new tables, chairs, drawers, bookcases, shelving units and even a new teacher's chair on wheels, that Mr Booker and Mr Carrick were delighted with - they'll never have to get up again!

As you can see, the children were also allowed to draw on the 'desks' before the card was removed - lots of fun!

The reception area by the entrance was also overhauled and the results were fantastic - there's even a bear down there!

The project has begun in Year 6, so these children can enjoy the benefits before moving on, but will continue throughout the school.

A huge thank-you to the Refurbishment Team for their efforts - it's just a shame that the budget couldn't strtech to doing something with Mrs Ivett!
